Brian T. Boyd
Owner & President of Firm and Certified Public Accountant – Born and raised in Texas. He received his BBA in Accounting from Texas Tech University. Brian has over forty years of tax and management consulting experience. His firm currently has over seven hundred clients including over two hundred small businesses. Brian takes pride in giving back to the community and offering job opportunities to current college students and recent graduates to gain experience in the professional world.
Steve M. Lorenz
Staff Accountant sales tax, payroll and bookkeeping department - born & raised in IOWA BA in accounting from the University of Northern Iowa. 15-years with Baker Hughes as Cost Accounting Manager, Assistant Controller and Director of Human Resources - Western Hemisphere. Became an employee of the firm when it acquired the practice of Barry Wood, CPA in December 2008.
Diana Martinez
Para Professional - born in Mexico and raised in San Antonio. She received her Associate's in Business Administration from San Antonio College and is currently finishing up her last year of her BBA in Accounting from University of Texas at San Antonio. Diana has been working with this firm since January of 2020.
Rebecca (Becky) Knight
Office Manager and Payroll Department Supervisor
Born in Ithaca, NY, and raised in Baltimore, MD and Champaign-Urbana, IL. Earned her bachelor’s degree in Engineering Management at the University of Texas in Austin, and her MBA at the University of Houston. Worked over a decade at Exxon in the IT department spearheading automation of business practices including the use of artificial intelligence. Joined Brian T. Boyd CPA PC in 2006.
Carmela Burtone
Receptionist and Supervisor of Administrative Duties - born in Milan, Italy, raised in Perth, Australia, lived in New York City, and current proud Texan. Obtained her BA in Psychology with a minor in English from the University of Western Australia.
Patrick Ross Meadows
Certified Public Accountant - Born and raised in Pleasanton, Texas. He received his B.S. in Agricultural Business and his Masters of Accountancy from Southwest Texas State University. Prior to his accounting career, he was a small business owner. Ross joined Brian T. Boyd CPA PC in 1998 and has 26 years of Public Accounting experience.
